FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (RE) – REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT FIRM (LW63)

We are pleased to be working with our client a leading Real Estate Firm.  Due to significant growth within the business and an influx of new  client acquisition, they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role will be well suited to someone who is a team player, has an analytical approach and works well under pressure.

 

The Role:

Develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Funds and their subsidiaries’ finances

Supervise fund accounting, including review and validation of the quarterly accounts of the Luxembourg and non-Luxembourg subsidiaries in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

Prepare the quarterly IFRS consolidation at Fund Level, including IFRS adjustments, deferred tax and revaluation of financial instruments

Prepare and review statutory accounts for the group of companies

Make recommendations for changes that will improve the company’s financial performance and financial controls

Monitor and support taxation issues

Act as the main point of contact to external auditors and provide all required information

Mandate of Director on some Luxembourg companies

The Profile:

BAC+3 in accounting or finance

Ideally 8+ years  experience ideally in the real estate sector

Knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP

Experience with consolidation under IFRS is an asset

Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations is also considered a benefit

Fluent in English and either French or German

Good communicator, take initiative and works well under pressure
